Two Booklets 1st (10) & 2nd (8) Class Stamps About 20 Years Old Expiring 1/31/23
Two booklets of UK stamps, bought in UK about 20 years ago, maybe a bit earlier, for use during our frequent trips there.
The 1st class booklet is complete with 10 stamps while the 2nd class booklet has only 8 of the original 10 remaining.
My tally is that the current value is 14£ 94p (10 x 95p, 8 x 68p).
My understanding also is that these stamps can ot longer be used after 31 January 2023 but that they can be swapped for longer-valid stamps from the Royal Mail.
They will be mailed to the buyer rby First Class International mail from the United States, if the buyer is in the UK, or by regular First Class mail if the buyer is in the United States.
These are all in unused, mint condition.
I have also shown scans of the backs of the booklets to help you identify the date of these stamps, if that should interest you.
Under the stamps, both are marked “Printed by Harrison & Sons Limited, UK.”
